Beloved in Christ,

I am glad to communicate with you through this website which is born out of the amazing love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

After I came to know the truth that is He (Jesus) is our creator and he paid His own life on the cross to redeem me, I started living for Him as a faithful and grateful child. When I read this verse from Bible
"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth"  Colossians 3:2
I realised living as His child alone is not enough but also must share His burden and build His kingdom and this has become my vision for the ministry. This “The Hand of Jesus" website ministry is part of the above mentioned vision.

John 14 : 1 – 3

‘Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.’

Some contexts for this passage; On the night that Jesus was arrested, he talked with his disciples about the events that are yet to come. Knowing that his arrest, crucifixion and eventual ascension into Heaven would be a struggle and traumatic for his disciples but Jesus assured them to not be troubled. Jesus assures them ‘Peace I leave with you , my peace I give you ‘ ; ‘ Do not be afraid .’

Lets go through the 3 W’s – Who, What and Why

Who is Jesus talking to?

At that current time he was speaking to his disciples; the next events yet to come is lifechanging and also a every essential part in Christianity. These disciples were with him for about 3 years and suddenly there are going to be drastic changes in their lives.

What is this verse talking about?

Jesus reassures his disciples to trust him, in God the Father and God the son. Jesus asks them to not allow their hearts to be troubled as his ascension will leave deep sadness to them but he prepares them for his second coming.
